The V-Cast voice communication system takes into account the needs of prisons and detention centres, ensuring the safety of staff, inmates and visitors through fast and precise communication. The use of IP technology from the server to end devices enables the creation and configuration of a flexible and scalable security system to suit the requirements of custodial facilities.
The prison communication system supports inmate management, central control and monitoring of locks, entrances and passageways, as well as communication with visitors. Intercom terminals in residential cells are resistant to vandalism and provide high-quality voice communication, enabling calls to and from the cells.
The system provides functions such as communication with residential and monitored cells, radio broadcasting without the need to install a separate 100 V installation, broadcasting sound messages, redirecting calls to analogue phones, VoIP, DECT and WiFi, sabotage detection or reporting functions. In addition, the system offers advanced covert audio monitoring options, whereby a station with the appropriate permissions can secretly monitor (listen in to) audio from any intercom terminal in the cell.
The advanced diagnostic and monitoring functions check the status of devices in the system in real time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The system continuously reports events such as call activity, device status, tampering and faults.
The system supports the handling of additional functions that are often required in mission-critical facilities.
The V-Cast allows the state of elements in the PC application to be visualized, operation with a redundant server to ensure continuity of operations, the ability to record and log calls and broadcast messages.
Regardless of its size, a car park, whether locally staffed or unmanned, single or multi-storey, must have an efficient and reliable communication system. This allows staff to be notified promptly about undesirable incidents, and those in need of help will receive it quickly.
Parking lots are places where unpleasant incidents can occur. It could be the discovery of damage to a vehicle, failure of the ticket machine or barrier, not to mention criminal activities. With an intercom system, people have the means to communicate with staff and security.
An efficient communication system also means lower operating costs and more efficient use of the car park operator’s resources. Having the possibility to monitor the facility remotely, or network car parks also contributes to this.
